John serves as the company’s President and CEO. He founded Best Invest because of his strong desire to help others. John takes the time to visit with each client so that he may help them with their individual investment goals. This enables him to build portfolios tailored to the clients’ specific wants and needs.
John keeps clients apprised of market fluctuations and provides pertinent and timely investment advice. In addition, John oversees all facets of the operations of the firm. He is personally involved with our clients on a daily basis, and, with the help of our seasoned staff, helps ensure that they receive the best customer service experience possible.
John received his BBA in Business and Psychology from Texas State University. This is where John first started investing at the age of 18 while working fulltime to pay for 100% of his college education. John has the Series 65- Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam license. With over 24 years of experience taking care of clients’ investments and over 38 years of total investment experience, John is well qualified to help others work towards realizing their financial goals.
John has been a part of the San Antonio community since the mid-1970’s when the Air Force relocated his family here. John is active in the community through his Rotary Club at the Dominion, Leadership San Antonio Class of 35, BNI, and the Saddle Light Center Charity. John recently served as president of his Rotary Club and has held numerous other positions including Treasurer.
John enjoys working on and restoring old cars, and this has become a regular pastime for him on weekends. You can see some of his handiwork anytime at our office, as he drives his “projects” daily. John also enjoys working out, running, going to Spurs games, and snow skiing. You can often find him in Marion, Texas visiting his mother or at his dad and stepmom’s house in San Antonio for a good meal.
